The
Magic of Nature

In the light of knowing my goodness and always wanting to reconnect with
that experience, I go into nature to be healed and reminded of my connection
with what is most beautiful in this world to me. . . Nature herself.
In my experience, nature heals because the resonance of the natural world
is one of joy. Exuberant, robust wholeness and joy. Yes, more subtle than
the joy I feel at peak experiences, but definately in that range of resonance.
My take on the resonance of plants, in general. is that they have an experience
of being in alignment with their destiny and connected to all that is.
No scheduling conflicts, no bills to pay, no worries about growing old.
They don't care much if their leaves have spots, a petal deformed or a
branch broken. They are not attached to life in the way that we are. They
come and they go. When removing plants, (and when I remember) I connect
with them for a moment to acknowledge our shared divinity and thank them
for their contribution. Flowers, by the way, love to be brought into the
house and admired.
Nature is at its best, whether in a garden or a forest, when I can get
out of my head and all the thoughts racing around in there, nagging me.
I become present and aware of the resonance of nature. I let it wrap me
in a mist of quiet joy and peace. My spirit is lifted and I am more of
who I truly am . . . a loving, generous, joyful being. This is the magic
of nature.
